I became a great fan of Hector Deville some time ago when I purchased his original Hectortrader course, so I was very excited when I heard that he was launching a new product called Learn Forex Live in August 2009. I contacted Hector to find out what the difference was between the old and the new course and he offered to give me a trial membership in order to do a full review for my subscribers. I jumped at the opportunity and was amazed by what I found..

When I logged into the members area it didn’t take long for me to realize that the  Learn Forex Live course is in a league of its own. This new course is not only bigger than the old one, but the videos are better recorded and there are more trading strategies. Additionally, you also receive a number of advanced indicators that was not part of the original course. After watching all the modules I would have to say that Learn Forex Live is the most comprehensive Forex trading course I have ever come across.

The course consists of 60+ training videos (which can be viewed online or delivered to your door on DVD’s), unlimited email support from Hector himself and two advanced indicators that is normally sold seperately for $197. Hector teaches price action strategies in this course and you can trade his systems without the use of any indicators, but the Trend Scanner and Forex Currency Index indicators are great time savers and very valuable tools in their own right.

What’s Included in The Course?

The main course consist of more than 60 training videos in which Hector explains each trading strategy in great detail. For each trading strategy you will learn how to identify trading opportunities, exactly where and how to enter a trade, where to place your stoploss and how to calculate profit targets. As always, Hector’s videos are entertaining, incredibly detailed and very insightful. Here is a breakdown of the main contents:

What I Didn’t Like About the Course

I enjoyed the Learn Forex Live course very much and it’s hard to say something negative about it, but if I have to single out one thing it will be the amount of time it takes to work through the material. This is no 100 page e-book that you read through in an evening and then discard, it’s a comprehensive home study course that takes many hours to complete and you need to commit a lot of time to watching the videos. It’s definitely worth the time though, because Hector’s videos are very thorough and you will probably enjoy every minute of it.

Conclusion

I have reviewed dozens of Forex courses over the past couple of years and this is without a doubt the best one I have come across. I really enjoyed watching every one of the videos and Hector’s honest approach is a breath of fresh air in an industry that is full of scams and false claims at the moment. There are courses on the market today for $2000+ that doesn’t offer a fraction of this value and the quality of information that Hector provides is second to none. If you are at all interested in Forex trading on a part time or full time basis, then I truly believe that this is the only course you will ever need. Whether you have hours available for trading per day or just 10 minutes, the Learn Forex Live course will definitely have a strategy for you.
