Tom’s EA Overview

There’s quite a bit of news today, so I’ll get right to it…

1. The Launch of Tom’s EA

There’s a new forex robot launching this week that I’m quite excited about. It’s called Tom’s EA and like many others I’ve been beta testing it for the past month. This is not the usual $97 EA sold under a pseudonym by some shady marketer, it’s a professional trading system used by the CEO of a forex brokerage to manage client funds, endorsed by some of the biggest names in the industry. The great thing about this EA is that they allow you to test it to see how it performs before making any commitment. You can download your copy of Tom’s EA here. I started testing the latest version of Tom’s EA on 3 October and as of right now it has made a profit of 11.24%. You can view my detailed test statements here: http://www.myfxbook.com/members/ccronje/toms-ea-test/180696.The purpose of this EA is to make a consistent 8-10% profit per month (if you use the low risk profile) and so far I’ve been very impressed with the way it achieves that. 2. Scalping FX Robot Update

After reading many reviews and having a number of email discussions with the creator of Scalping FX Robot I’ve come to the conclusion that this EA is extremely broker dependant. I don’t really have the ability at the moment to open a dedicated live account and spend $2000 just to see if it works on a live account or not, but Craig has at least offered me a 2 day live trial with a broker of his choice to proof that his system works. According to him I will make enough money in 2 days to justify the $2000 payment to get a lifetime license. I need to open a $500 account for this 2 day test and right now I’m still deciding if this is worth doing or not.

In the meantime the demo test of this EA has turned $3000 into $12,000 in a week and this includes a whole day of no trading due to a technical problem. I’ve been struggling to get the stats up on my website, because on the demo account Alpari seems to limit the number of trades in the statement, so the deposit and many of the trades are not showing at all.
