MaxEDD Overview

On friday I sent an email regarding MaxEDD, the unique new forex robot evaluation and optimizing tool from Uriel Katz. The product is now officially available for purchase and after going through all the information on their homepage I think this product is really worth trying out.

MaxEDD is essentially a simple tool that you can use to evaluate the profitability of and risk presented by a forex robot and it can also be used to optimize the settings of a forex robot to maximize its earnings. They provide a lot of proof of how effective MaxEDD is, including statements showing 1165% of profit, 21 months of trading statements, investor passwords at Alpari UK and more.

The thing I like the most about this product though is the “Profit Reports” that they offer as a “VIP Membership” to the main product. In this report they provide a series of proven case studies that they have performed with MaxEDD and it includes detailed test results, optimized settings, broker specific information and much more. In this report they reveal the exact trading strategies that they used to generate the profits referred to on the main sales page, so their members can simply copy this and get started right away without the need for doing extensive testing themselves. As far as I know they will keep on providing VIP members with these type of case studies on an ongoing basis.

Based on what I’ve seen so far I think MaxEDD caters for both the serious forex robot traders who want to do their own testing and optimization, as well as the people who don’t care about testing and just want to know what works. I’ve just purchased my own membership to MaxEDD, so I’ll give a more insightful review next week, but for now I think it’s definitely worth checking out yourself.

2. Live Account Performance

The live account seems to be struggling at the moment and the culprit seems to be Forex Combo System, which has been struggling over the past couple of weeks. I’m not 100% sure what the best course of action would be with this, but I’m starting to think that it might be a good idea to disable Forex Combo until it at least performs well on the demo account again and rather focus more on other EA’s showing promise.

The most impressive strategy on the live account so far is definitely Wallstreet Forex Robot. Is has a good risk:reward ratio and out of the 100 trades it has placed so far, 70% have been winners. This robot is proving to be a very safe and consistent product to trade with.

3. Weekly Performance on Demo Accounts

Unfortunately I had to restart my Forex Goldtrader thanks to the demo account being deleted by the broker. I can understand that the brokers can’t maintain millions of demo accounts, but some days it just seems that they don’t realize that people use this for serious testing. As I mentioned last week, I also had to restart my Forex Combo test as well, but the old stats can still be seen on the robot performance page under “Forex Combo Old”.
