Forex Newsletter – 4 July 2011

Posted by | Posted in Automated Forex Trading Systems, Newsletter | Posted on 04-07-2011

I’m safely back from holiday and on the EA testing side everything is 100% back on track. I’m investigating some new products for testing and possibly some changes on the live account, so keep an eye out for more news on this next week. Once again, if you think there’s a good product on the market that I haven’t tested or reviewed, please let me know and I’ll investigate.

The biggest news for the week is that Dustin Pass and Barry Battista are hosting a series of no-cost training webinars for their much talked about Straddle Trader Pro system. I’ve attended one of these webinars and it’s definitely a must for anyone interested in Straddle Trader Pro or news trading in general. You can use the link below to reserve your seat at one of the webinars:

Even if you have registered for a webinar already, please visit the link above and do so again to ensure that I register as your referrer, because I can win a prize for the most referrals :)

Lastly, I believe they will also introduce their commercial offer during this webinar. I’m not quite sure exactly what this will be yet, but I’m guessing that the version they are currently giving away will eventually be expired or limited in some way, so keep that in mind before you get too excited about this no-cost system. I plan to attend at least one of the webinars, but I’d still appreciate your feedback if you attend as well.

Here is this week’s forex robot performance report.

1. Robot Performance Comments

Forex Combo System has had a tough time over the past 2 weeks and the overall profit on my live account has dropped from 15% to just 6% and from 239% to 192% on the demo account. All trading systems go through bad patches, so the important thing right now is to be patient and see how it (hopefully) recovers.

The Million Dollar Pips EA is off to a very good start with a profit of 27% in just 2 weeks. The risk reward ratio on this system looks very good so far, but I don’t know much about the strategy it uses yet, so I’ll do some digging and see what I can find out.

Wallstreet Forex Robot and Forex Growth Bot are also proving to be good candidates for the live account, since they’ve consistently showed good results in testing so far. I need to analyze the results a bit more, but so far it looks like Wallstreet robot could turn out to be one of the best (if not the best) EA that I’ve tested so far. More on this next week.
