Forex Newsletter – 6 June 2011

As luck would have it, I activated Forex Combo on my new live account right before it took 2 big losses, resulting in a -9% loss right out of the blocks. Luckily it recovered brilliantly from that and ended up with a total profit of 7% for the week. There’s a bunch off unrealized profit in the open trades as well, so it looks like this week is off to a good start. One of the trades is 112 pips in profit and it’s currently on a free ride because the stoploss has already been moved to breakeven. For now I have not added any other EA’s to this account.

1. Robot Performance Comments

Forex Crescendo has now reduced the demo account it runs on by -65%. I’m sure I’m not using the latest version or my settings are not up to date, but to be honest this doesn’t really matter anymore. I have no doubt that the idea behind this EA is solid, but it’s just too complicated for most users, so for now I think it’s better to stop testing it.
