1. New Products Worth Checking Out

Forex Trend Dominator is based on price action and other technical variables to identify new trends in providing fast, accurate and profitable trading signals. According to the sales page, the “system contains accurate trend signal alerts for the dashboard and 5 out of the 10 indicators have alerts that may be sent to your email and cell phone”. They provide a nice manual to help you get started with detailed instructions. The system sells for $299.

Indestructible Trend Winner is a new system from Austin Winston that’s another buy/sell Trend Indicator. They are getting great results and you can see a screenshot on their site from their May 14 results (and likely updated going forward). The system sells for $87.

I love this quote from Aristotle. He’s making the point that while the process of education can be difficult, your work pays off through everything you know and can do with the education. What does that have to do with Forex trading?

When I started FX Trading Reviews, my primary goal was to create an honest and reputable site to help sort through the scams and fake review sites so my readers would be better educated to make decisions on Forex products. Many of the reviews and products we’ve followed over the years have been Forex robots – a “black box” product that runs in an automated fashion, making all trading decisions on your behalf.

The great thing about a robot is they are automated, you don’t have to know much about Forex or the market, just let it run. However the downside of the robot is you do not control the outcome of your trading – you’re relying on the developer and the particular algorithm they developed.

Why would the Editor of a site primarily focused on Forex robots talk about the downside of the robots?

As you have seen in some of the products I’ve reviewed this year, I feel strongly that it’s in the best interest of every trader to be well educated and take control of their trading. Forex robots can be a nice complement to a portfolio, but the better educated you are and the more control you can take of your overall portfolio, the more success you will have in the long-term and isn’t that what we all want?

Why do I bring this up today? I have found what I believe to be the best and most comprehensive education for a trader. I have previously shared products and webinars hosted by NetPicks, a stalwart in this industry which has been around for over 16 years. Last week they announced they are creating a “University” to provide a complete trading education. This University will offer Pre-Requisites, an Undergraduate course, selection of a Major (including Forex) and even Graduate level courses. And the great thing is you don’t have to travel to this University – these courses will be taught online so you can attend from the convenience of your home or office. Imagine that, a full education based on years and years of trading experience, taught over a number of days at the most convenient location!

Before I sent the email last week announcing their webinars, I asked their CEO for a preview to the University and I am really excited. I can sincerely say this course is going to better than anything else on the market and will be ideal whether you consider yourself a beginner or expert trader. Not only do you get a full end-to-end education for all types of trading (Day-trading, Swing, Position) and all markets (Forex, Options, Stocks, Futures), but they are also including a proprietary trading system for trading all of these markets!

I don’t like to get too “promotional”, because my credibility and reputation are important, but this has my full backing and I got so excited I even offered to help them as a guest-Instructor down the line. At minimum, I think you should sign up for one of their webinars to hear what they have to offer, I think it’s well worth your time. I’ll end with another great quote from Aristotle talking about taking control of your goals with wisdom/education: “First, have a definite, clear practical ideal; a goal, an objective. As you have probably experienced over the years many Forex robot and trading system launches tend to have free trading systems, robots, and tutorials offered at the beginning of the sales process. Some are terrible – but some are actually quite useful.

I find when you see a company spend the extra time and money to make their giveaway excellent, the product trying to be sold on the backend tends to be higher quality as well (probably indicates a higher quality company to begin with).

Forex Trend Hunter is a trend-following robot. Their sales page claims they earn “an average of 25 pips profit per transaction, which automatically means that you no longer have to search for the perfect broker who offers the lowest spreads.” The site does not provide any third party verifications of the robot, instead offering links to view screenshots of their back testing. The system sells for $129 and comes with a 60 day guarantee.

Galaxy X is another trend-following strategy, as well as countertrend. This is not a robot, rather a trade replicator because they don’t want to reveal the “core logic secret”. They follow four currency pairs: EUR/USD, GBP/USD, AUD/USD and USD/CAD. On their sales page they claim an average monthly gain of 10-30% and maximum drawdown of less than 22%.  They do have a Myfxbook account for you to track the results of their account.

I received a lot of very positive feedback to the releases of Keltner Bells and TradeVantage. Last week I talked about the differences between the two, but most importantly realize both of these products are back by well-respected organizations which is critical in this business. Top FX Robot is a new automated robot that according to their website “operates on any Forex broker using the MetaTrader 4 platform, and can operate on EURUSD, GBPUSD, EURGBP, USDJPY, USDCHF etc. currency pairs and the H1 timeframe.” What I like most about this robot (and you’ve heard me preach this every week) is the fact that they provide links to both their Myfxbook account and their MT4i account so you can see their results. The robot sells for $159 with a 30 day money back guarantee.

Another new system I find intriguing is being released on April 24 –  the LST System (Learn, Simulate, Trade) released by Vladimir Ribakov which is a “hybrid strategy based on powerful and automated divergence analysis and statistics, taking advantage of the cyclical movement of market prices.” In addition to videos and documentation, LST owners are entitled to participate in Vladimir’s live webinars where he meets with all LST owners and teaches them how to make the most out of the strategy. I believe this has the potential to be a great product.

Last week you probably received a lot of promotions for KeltnerBells and TradeVantage, two strong yet different systems that I personally am excited about. The feedback I heard from this audience was very positive regarding both products. I did get a few people asking me to summarize what I felt was unique about each so here are some quick thoughts for you to consider:

What I like about KeltnerBells is the fact that it has been proven in real-time markets for close to a year.  That is significant, particularly given the vastly different market conditions we’ve experienced over the last year.  I also like the fact that it really does take just a few minutes, a couple of times per day, to manage your trades and place new ones.

Swing Trading may be new to some of you, but it’s a nice balance where you aren’t trying to scalp out 5 or 10 pips in Forex which can be difficult. Rather the usual target is 100 pips or more, much more reassuring when you’re trading and paying spreads.  Now there is a little bit of work you have to do, you need to learn the strategy, but I continue to hear great feedback about their training. I’m sure you’re someone who realizes a little effort can go a long way — just expect a short learning curve then you’ll be replicating their results.  Here is a link to the KeltnerBells webinar on Thursday where you’ll learn a lot and have a chance to ask questions.

TradeVantage is a bit different.  It actually continuously “optimizes” itself using what’s called “neural networks”.  Now there are pluses and minuses to constant optimizations.  The upside is these types of systems tend to be very in tune with current market conditions.  The downside is the so called backtesting or history isn’t really what was traded back weeks or months ago.  So you have to look at those track records with a grain of salt.  However, for sheer simplicity, TradeVantage certainly has that – come in once every 24 hours, be told whether to Buy, Sell or Hold on a number of currency pairs and then get updates once per day.  The learning curve is almost immediate which is an advantage over most systems, but realize TradeVantage doesn’t have close to a year of actual results like the KeltnerBells. With that said, the publisher of TradeVantage, Dustin Pass, has a very strong reputation with previous products and is very excited about TradeVantage.

I feel you’ll find these are two of the better systems in the market and both are running webinars this week where you can learn a lot more about each. I encourage you to attend both!

Forex Breakthrough Formula is a new system from Harry Broderick claiming to earn “at least $1200 per day” trading for no more than 20 minutes per day. This is not a robot, rather it’s a manual trading system with proprietary indicators you will plug into your charts. He claims to provide “proof upon proof upon proof” but unfortunately that “proof” is only a series of screenshots of supposed charts, supposed Myfxbook accounts and supposed bank statements. The system sells for $99 with a 60 day guarantee, but I remain skeptical.

RapidPips is a new robot from Jamie Williams. The sales page (accessed when you provide your email address) provides a lot of screenshots to charts and results (again not links to actuals). With regards to the strategy, some notes from the sales page: “RapidPips has been designed to trade on the 5M chart; It leverages an enormously tight stop loss; It works on a simple combination of an indicator and price action to find out and scalp mini breakouts using machine speed with smart trailing techniques; It has an incredible 82% win ratio”. I only wish they had the links to the real results! The robot sells for $197 with a 60 day guarantee.

NewsMiner is a tool to aggregate a variety of news sources to determine the markets and “what’s hot” by compiling information from the internet, articles, news, market signals and then ranks them in popularity. By using heat maps, the trader determines their trading strategy for the day. NewsMiner can be used with Forex, Stocks and Futures. The cost is $49 with a 60 day guarantee.

TradeVantage is the latest release from Dustin Pass. TradeVantage uses “neural network intelligence” to analyze currency pair history and predict their future success. This is the first week of their launch (available next Monday), but they have a great video explaining “Neural Networks in Trading”.

Alexander Collins has released an updated version of his software, now called Forex Thor II. One tactic I like with this new release is they are allowing our readers to download a free trial version before you decide to purchase the product. On their sales page, they provide their Myfxbook results and you can see the account is doing very well. I’d suggest you try it first, but when you’re ready to buy, the price is $249 with a 60 day money back guarantee.

Forex Replicator is a new Forex system for EUR/USD and GBP/USD using historical data to predict price movement. According to their sales page, when they feel 90% confident in a price movement based on previous history, they will give the user an indicator to execute. Unfortunately their site only uses screenshots for evidence of their results, so that’s a red flag for me. The product sells for only $87 and does come with a 60 money back guarantee.
